About The Position

Collectors is hiring an Operations Manager for its Collectors Vault team, a new business unit offering high-security storage for collectibles and integrating Collectors’ business units into a platform for storing, securing, authenticating, grading, buying, and selling collectibles. The position is based at the company’s New Castle, Delaware facility and reports to the Director of Operations. It requires working onsite five days per week on a Sunday–Wednesday schedule from 7:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. The manager will oversee the safety, staffing, training, performance, and operational execution of the assigned shift while ensuring quality, productivity, throughput, and service goals are met.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience in a managerial or supervisory role in an operations environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent work experience.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to understand and communicate company policies and procedures.
• Dependable, personable team player able to work with internal and external stakeholders.
• Data-driven problem-solving skills and an understanding of the general business implications of decisions.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize projects in a fast-paced environment with little room for error.
• Ability to inspire and motivate others and drive departmental change.
• Strong project management, planning, and organizational skills, including the ability to develop and execute realistic action plans.

Nice To Haves

• Familiarity with standard concepts, practices, and procedures involving trading cards, tickets, and other sports and non-sports collectibles.

Responsibilities

• Manage the safety, staffing, training, and overall performance of employees on the assigned shift.
• Monitor staff productivity and assign tasks as needed.
• Lead onsite operations, logistics, and product processing while maintaining quality and balancing throughput and cost.
• Own and deliver on safety, quality, productivity, throughput, and service KPIs.
• Work independently and partner with other shift supervisors.
• Serve as a knowledgeable and accessible resource for team members.
• Ensure proper procedures are followed and develop techniques to improve team efficiency.
• Lead by example and champion company policies, including those concerning safety, attendance, and security.
