About The Position

Reducto is seeking a Manager, Sales Development to build and lead their outbound sales engine from the ground up. This is a critical 0→1 role where the successful candidate will define the outbound strategy, establish systems, develop talent, and set the standard for pipeline generation. The SDR team is young and based onsite in San Francisco. The role offers the opportunity to shape the outbound culture, execution, and scale a function vital to the company's revenue growth. Reducto is an early-stage company with significant momentum, focused on helping AI teams ingest real-world enterprise data from unstructured formats like PDFs and spreadsheets using vision models. They have experienced rapid growth, raised over $100M, and work with leading AI and enterprise companies.

Requirements

  • 0→1 Builder: The desire to build an outbound motion from scratch including ICP definition, sequencing strategy, messaging frameworks, and performance systems. Ability to create structure without slowing things down.
  • Coaching Depth: Proven track record of elevating early-career SDRs through deliberate, high-frequency coaching. Experience running call reviews, email workshops, and skill development sessions.
  • Outbound Craft: Deep expertise in persona-specific messaging, cold outreach sequencing, and multi-channel personalization. Understanding of effective first touches and how to build a quality-focused team.
  • Operational Rigor: Habitual implementation of data-driven systems like activity tracking, conversion analysis, funnel math, and pipeline attribution. Ability to partner with RevOps to build actionable dashboards and reporting.
  • Technical Product Fluency: Ability to quickly internalize a complex value proposition and translate it into messaging for technical and business buyers, and coach a team to do the same.
  • Cross-Functional Drive: Ability to partner fluidly with AEs, Marketing, and RevOps. Experience with account planning, multi-threading strategy, operationalizing intent signals and campaigns, and aligning with GTM leadership on segmentation and ICP.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience selling a technically complex product into engineering, AI, or data teams
  • Experience building an outbound motion at a company selling to both technical buyers (VP Engineering, Head of AI) and business buyers (COO, Head of Operations) simultaneously
  • Fluency with modern outbound tooling — sequencing platforms (Outreach, Salesloft), intent data (6sense, Bombora), and enrichment tools (Clay, Apollo)
  • Previous management of an SDR-to-AE promotion pipeline and designing a team that develops talent from within
  • Active use of AI in personal workflow for generating messaging variants, analyzing performance data, or building rep coaching materials

Responsibilities

  • Hire, onboard, and ramp a high-performing onsite SDR team in San Francisco
  • Define Reducto's outbound story — persona-specific talk tracks, first-touch messaging, and the narrative that introduces Reducto to technical and business buyers
  • Build 0→1 outbound frameworks covering ICP, targeting, personalization, and sequencing across email, phone, and LinkedIn
  • Implement data-driven systems for activity tracking, conversion analysis, and pipeline attribution — turn metrics into coaching and decision-making inputs
  • Run daily coaching rhythms including call reviews, email workshops, and structured skill development sessions
  • Partner with AEs on territory structure, account planning, and multi-threading strategy to maximize outbound-to-pipeline conversion
  • Collaborate with RevOps to build dashboards, routing logic, and reporting infrastructure that keeps the team accountable and leadership informed
  • Work with Marketing to operationalize intent signals, field events, and top-of-funnel campaigns into actionable SDR outreach
  • Set performance standards and build a high-accountability, high-learning culture where SDRs grow quickly and consistently hit their numbers
