About The Position

The Manager, Property Operations, is responsible for ensuring donor center facilities are maintained in a safe, compliant, and operationally effective manner. This role supports regulatory readiness, oversees maintenance and vendor services, and partners with site leadership to ensure uninterrupted operations aligned with NYBC standards and mission.

Requirements

  • High School or Trade School degree.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in facilities/property operations, preferably in a regulated environment.
  • Valid Driver’s License with a clean driving record.
  • Knowledge of regulatory compliance, inspections, and quality systems.
  • Cultural competency and the ability to communicate effectively in a culturally sensitive manner with both individuals and groups from diverse backgrounds.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and vendor management skills.
  • Any combination of education, training, and experience equivalent to the requirements above that has supplied the necessary knowledge, skills, and experience to perform the essential functions of the job.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate preventive and corrective maintenance programs, repair activities, and service requests to ensure safe, reliable, and uninterrupted facility operations.
  • Oversee day-to-day repairs and maintenance for building systems, equipment, and site infrastructure, prioritizing work to minimize operational disruptions.
  • Partner with Site Leads and Collections Managers to identify maintenance needs, respond to facility issues, and proactively resolve operational concerns.
  • Conduct routine facility inspections to assess building conditions, identify maintenance deficiencies, and ensure timely completion of corrective actions.
  • Monitor preventive maintenance schedules, equipment performance, and vendor service delivery to maximize asset reliability and extend equipment life.
  • Support EH&S and QRA inspections, ensuring facilities remain compliant with regulatory, safety, and quality standards while maintaining a continuous state of audit readiness.
  • Review and approve deviations, minor SOP revisions, and CAPAs related to facilities operations, maintenance activities, and regulatory compliance.
  • Support RFP processes and negotiations, and administer maintenance and repair service contracts as directed, and monitor vendor performance against service level expectations.
  • Review and approve purchase requisitions, work orders, and vendor invoices, ensuring expenditures aligned with approved budgets, contractual obligations, and internal controls.
