Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in product marketing, brand management, or a related discipline, preferably within the consumer goods or outdoor lifestyle sectors.
  • Demonstrated experience owning positioning, messaging, and go-to-market plans for new product launches.
  • Strong understanding of the full marketing mix, including digital, retail, and eCommerce channels.
  • Experience building sales enablement materials and partnering with sales or dealer networks.
  • Excellent project management skills with the ability to manage multiple launches and priorities simultaneously.
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams, product development, and external agencies.
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data and translate insights into actionable strategies.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Experience in consumer products, outdoor cooking, retail, dealer/distributor networks, e-commerce, manufacturing, hospitality, events or lifestyle brands.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and own differentiated positioning, value propositions, and messaging frameworks for the Big Green Egg product portfolio, from Eggs and accessories to new category entries.
  • Translate product features and technical specifications into consumer-facing benefits that reinforce Big Green Egg’s premium positioning.
  • Maintain messaging consistency across every touchpoint - packaging, retail, digital, social, and partner channels - in partnership with the brand and creative teams.
  • Implement timelines and processes in partnership with the program director.
  • Own the integrated go-to-market plan for all new product introductions - launch objectives, target audience, pricing and promotional inputs, channel sequencing, and success criteria.
  • Rally cross-functional support across product development, sales, eCommerce, supply chain, and creative to ensure a cohesive launch aligned with brand and revenue objectives.
  • Lead the ideation, planning, and execution of product campaigns with the creative team, external agencies, and partners to drive awareness, trial, and sell-through.
  • Run post-launch reviews; tracking performance against launch goals and applying learnings to the next introduction.
  • Partner with product development to shape the roadmap, bringing consumer, competitive, and channel insight into product decisions.
  • Manage messaging and marketing support across the product lifecycle, including sustaining products, seasonal programs, and end-of-life transitions.
  • Provide input on pricing, assortment, and promotional strategy to support portfolio growth and margin goals.
  • Support eCommerce initiatives by partnering with the omnichannel team and Growth Marketing Manager to optimize product detail pages, online sales, and customer journeys.
  • Own product merchandising and content strategy for external retailer sites (Ace), ensuring product presentation, messaging, and storytelling reflect Big Green Egg’s positioning.
  • Serve as the product storytelling lead for BGE.com in close partnership with the eCommerce Manager - maintaining accuracy, consistency, and brand integrity across all product content.
  • Collaborate on campaign development and digital marketing initiatives that drive traffic, conversion, and engagement across eCommerce platforms.
  • Develop and distribute product launch toolkits, sell sheets, training materials, and competitive battlecards to support execution across internal teams, dealers, and external partners.
  • Equip the sales organization and dealer network with the messaging, assets, and product knowledge needed to sell confidently at retail.
  • Partner with the Eggspert training program leader to ensure product education content is accurate, current, and on message.
  • Lead campaign development for new product introductions in partnership with the creative team, shaping the concept, content approach, and asset plan that brings each launch to market.
  • Provide strategic direction and editorial oversight for product content across formats — video, photography, written, social, retail, and packaging.
  • Ensure content projects communicate clear product benefits and contribute to a unified brand narrative across platforms and experiences.
  • Review and approve creative concepts, storyboards, copy, and final assets, prioritizing projects that support launch and portfolio priorities.
  • Analyze market trends, consumer behaviors, and competitive activity to identify opportunities for portfolio growth and white space in the category.
  • Own competitive intelligence for the product portfolio, tracking competitor launches, pricing, and messaging, and translating findings into recommended action.
  • Leverage consumer insights and research to inform product development, online merchandising, launch plans, and promotional strategy.
  • Develop and track key performance metrics (KPIs) to evaluate the effectiveness of product launches, campaigns, and enablement programs.
  • Regularly report on product performance, launch results, and market share to senior management.
