Manager Pharmacy
About The Position
The manager is accountable for daily operations, planning, coordinating, and managing the activities of the professional and support staff of the inpatient, the ambulatory (Outpatient) and the non-sterile and sterile production divisions of the CHAM pharmacy department. The individual manager is also responsible for reviewing staff time and attendance, adhering to pharmacy practice regulations, following-up on drug -related problems, conducting quality improvements reviews, training of professional and supportive staff and implementing administrative and clinical procedures and CHAM IV room 797 compliance. Other activities include project management, budgeting, compliance with policies and procedures, accreditation requirements and regulations and medication safety.
Requirements
- Bachelor Degree in Pharmacy is required.
- Must have a valid NYS Pharmacist license and registration.
- Three-five years' experience is a similar role.
Nice To Haves
- Completion of a PGY 1 is preferred.
