Manager, Outbound Engineering

NimbleWay•New York, NY

About The Position

Nimble is hiring a hands-on Outbound Engineering Manager to lead and develop a new outbound function that combines traditional sales development with AI-powered research, automation, and go-to-market execution. This is a player/coach role: the manager will lead a team of Outbound AI Engineers while carrying a reduced individual quota, including prospecting, making calls, and generating pipeline. As the team grows, the role is expected to transition into full-time management focused on coaching, team performance, pipeline, and revenue. The role does not require the manager to be an AI engineer. The team builds agents, workflows, research tools, and GTM assets; the manager ensures those tools improve outbound performance and generate pipeline and ARR. The successful candidate will bring BDR/SDR expertise, enjoy coaching and improving outbound execution, and remain directly involved in prospecting and pipeline generation. They will help establish how the function operates rather than inherit an established playbook. Nimble describes itself as a company leading the AI web search category. Its products support businesses in financial services, retail, market intelligence, and coding in building AI agents with accurate, auditable programmatic web access. The company says it has raised over $70 million and has hundreds of enterprise customers. It offers the opportunity to work on a technical platform powering real-time AI and enterprise decisions, help define Web Search Agents and live web intelligence, and build with a mission-driven team.
