Manager, Outbound Engineering

NimbleWay•New York, NY

About The Position

Nimble is hiring a hands-on Outbound Engineering Manager to lead and develop a new outbound function combining traditional sales development with AI-powered research, automation, and go-to-market execution. This is a player/coach role: the manager will lead a team of Outbound AI Engineers while carrying a reduced individual quota, including prospecting, making calls, and generating pipeline. As the team grows, the role is expected to transition toward full-time management focused on coaching, team performance, pipeline, and revenue. The manager does not need to be an AI engineer. The team builds agents, workflows, research tools, and go-to-market assets; the manager ensures these tools improve outbound performance and generate pipeline and ARR. The role involves shaping a new outbound function rather than inheriting an established playbook, and requires someone willing to remain directly involved in outbound execution while building processes and leading the team. Nimble describes itself as a company leading the AI web search category. Its products provide businesses with programmatic web access for AI agents and are used in financial services, retail, market intelligence, and coding. The company says it has raised over $70 million and serves hundreds of enterprise customers.
