About The Position

Hyve Solutions is seeking a detail-oriented, hands-on, results-driven Operations Manager to work in a challenging, fast-paced, energetic environment. The role oversees logistics and warehouse operations, including order fulfillment, inventory and material control, transportation, vendor coordination, and employee development. The manager is responsible for maintaining service levels and cost effectiveness while ensuring compliance with internal controls and workplace health and safety practices.

Requirements

5–7 years of experience in a warehouse, logistics, or factory environment.
Background managing logistics in a factory environment or similar.
Knowledge of health and safety regulations.
Advanced skills in MS Office and Access, and proficiency in Outlook and PowerPoint.
Proven experience and success in a computerized order-entry and fulfillment environment.
Analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Nice To Haves

Inventory control experience.
Diploma or degree in business, logistics, or a related discipline.
First-Aid or CPR certification.

Responsibilities

Plan and manage logistics, warehouse, transportation, and customer services.
Direct, optimize, and coordinate the full order cycle.
Develop, implement, and maintain policies, procedures, and material control systems.
Develop Operations employees through training, productivity standards, policy and procedure guidance, and annual performance reviews.
Control warehouse inventory, equipment, and consumables; conduct physical counts and reconcile them with system records.
Develop materials schedules and coordinate efficient movement of materials.
Communicate with carriers, consumable suppliers, service vendors, temporary labor agencies, and third-party logistics providers.
Maintain high inbound and outbound transportation service levels at the lowest possible cost.
Manage and monitor vendor routing compliance, inbound lead times, and costs.
Ensure ongoing compliance with internal process controls.
Work safely by following company health and safety measures and practices, and report workplace hazards and relevant legislative violations to the employer.
