About The Position

The Inventory Manager leads, coaches, and models Nordstrom values for the Inventory Control team. The role focuses on meeting or exceeding customer needs, achieving results, and ensuring inventory accuracy across the store. The manager oversees inventory control functions, develops the team, manages staffing and labor, and supports customer experience across the market.

Responsibilities

Lead, train, and drive execution of inventory management best practices and standards throughout the store to achieve unit-level accuracy.
Coach and develop the team to be productive and deliver desired outcomes.
Oversee execution of Inventory Control functions.
Deliver staffing and scheduling needs based on company forecasts and other resources, supporting inventory control activities during normal cadence and key events.
Manage labor expense and improve individual and collective team productivity.
Hire and retain top talent across roles while building a bench for future roles.
Share business updates and initiatives effectively with the team to streamline communication and change management.
Create a fun and inclusive work environment that supports an "ALL IN TO WIN" culture and achievement of goals.
Champion continuous improvement.
Support customer experience across the market in a digital world by driving inventory accuracy standards.
