The Manager in Training (MIT) program at Circle K is designed to develop individuals into Store Managers. This role involves learning and executing all aspects of store operations, including leadership, customer service, financial management, and team development. The MIT will gain experience in recruiting, hiring, training, and managing staff to ensure the store meets company standards for cleanliness, stocking, organization, and customer service. The position requires maintaining a professional image, managing employee schedules, and fostering positive relationships with suppliers and the community. Key responsibilities include performance appraisals, training on safety procedures, effective communication, organizing store files, and accurate, timely reporting. Financial analysis, P&L budgeting, and safeguarding company assets are also crucial components of the role. The MIT will work indoors but may also be required to perform outdoor tasks and work in varying temperature conditions.
