Manager In Training (MIT)
About The Position
Road Ranger is seeking a Manager In Training (MIT) for its Midwest Market. The MIT Program provides training under a seasoned General Manager, who will develop and prepare the trainee to eventually join the management team at one of the company’s locations. Trainees learn to perform, direct, and coordinate essential Travel Center management activities, including employee supervision, maintaining store standards, inventory management, merchandising, and maximizing sales and profits. Proficiency in these activities is required. Following successful training, the trainee will move into a management position as one becomes available. The role requires the ability to relocate. The ideal candidate is a friendly, hardworking, and reliable leader who enjoys engaging with customers, employees, and vendors and helping make a difference in someone’s day.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of retail or restaurant management experience.
- Friendly, hardworking, and reliable leadership style.
- Enjoys engaging with customers, employees, and vendors.
- Ability to relocate.
- Successful completion of training and demonstrated proficiency are required before moving into a management position.
