About The Position

Paytm is seeking an experienced sales professional and people manager for its QR & Sound Box vertical. This role is responsible for driving growth in distribution and market share within an assigned operational area through extensive QR & Sound box deployment. The position involves identifying and recruiting a sales team, planning market strategies, communicating targets effectively, monitoring quality parameters, and conducting audits on team acquisitions and sales.

Requirements

  • 8-12 years experience in sales - business development, B2C markets
  • Experience in quota driven sales is a must.
  • Good networking capabilities.
  • Willing to travel extensively throughout their specified area.
  • Skilled in coaching and mentoring.
  • A quick learner who grasps and puts into application the new learnt ideas and concepts.
  • Self-starters, who can take ownership and are comfortable navigating ambiguity.
  • Passionate about working in a fast growing firms and large team handling.
  • Articulate complex solutions to novice customers.
  • Good sales and negotiation skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in payments and finance is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Growth of distribution and market share in the assigned area of operations.
  • Visibility & accountability through extensive QR & Sound box deployment and sale of the product.
  • Identify and recruit the sales team to align and drive business in the market.
  • Plan the market size, span and geographies for ASMs.
  • Devise best methods for communication of plans/targets to the team so as to minimize the expectations vs delivery gap.
  • Monitor the quality parameters as suggested by the management.
  • Validate and conduct audits on the acquisitions and sales done by the team.
  • People manage a large team of 5-10 ASMs & 200+ indirect employees.
