About The Position

Vance Thompson Vision is seeking a Manager, First Impressions Atrium to oversee the day-to-day operations of the atrium staff. The role is responsible for maintaining efficient atrium functions, managing staffing and schedules, hiring and supporting team members, and ensuring the atrium is clean, visually appealing, and stocked with food items. The manager also helps create a positive work environment and supports high employee performance and morale while delivering an excellent experience to patients and employees.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
At least two years of management experience.
Strong customer service and communication skills.
Ability to create an enthusiastic, positive work environment.
Understanding of team members’ needs.
Readiness to demonstrate the company’s core values in interactions with patients and team members.

Nice To Haves

Previous customer service experience.

Responsibilities

Oversee the day-to-day operations of the atrium staff.
Maintain efficient atrium functions, including evaluating staffing levels, staff proficiency, and job responsibilities.
Interview and hire atrium staff members.
Answer questions and address concerns and complaints among atrium team members.
Communicate effectively and professionally with patients and team members.
Establish individual and team goals for the department.
Establish and maintain professional relationships with the team to support high employee performance and morale.
Organize and oversee the schedule and work of atrium team members.
Participate in annual performance reviews by providing feedback and identifying staff development needs and opportunities.
Ensure the atrium area is clean and visually appealing to patients and food items are fully stocked and available.
Assist with atrium staff duties as needed.
Exceed patient and employee expectations through active listening, effective communication, and empathy.
