About The Position

Responsible for coordinating, organizing, and implementing policies and procedures related to patient care, business operations, and fiscal matters for assigned clinics and satellite facilities.

Requirements

• High school diploma.
• At least 5 years of experience in a medical setting.
• Excellent problem-solving and interpersonal skills.
• Current Michigan driver’s license and proof of valid automobile insurance.
• Must be insurable under McLaren’s insurance program.

Nice To Haves

• Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in a business- or health-related field.
• Previous operations experience.

Responsibilities

• Selects, trains or orients, and assigns department staff, either directly or through a subordinate supervisor.
• Enforces performance standards, evaluates performance, and initiates or recommends personnel actions.
• Supervises the daily duties of employees responsible for accurate registration, insurance verification, and time-of-service collections.
• Develops department goals and objectives and enforces policies and procedures covering clinical and revenue cycle functions, quality assurance, environmental matters, and infection control.
• Recommends the department operating budget and ensures the department operates within budget.
