Manager, Business Development - USA

ReVisionz•Houston, TX

About The Position

The Manager, Business Development generates new business for ReVisionz with owner-operators across North America. The role opens new accounts and wins additional work with existing clients across digital asset enablement solutions, including systems integration, data and AI solutions, consulting, and managed services, with a focus on services engagements, projects, and programs. Prospecting and building a qualified pipeline are the role’s first priorities. This is an individual-contributor position with no direct reports. The manager spends much of their time in the field meeting prospects and clients face to face, supported by ReVisionz’s sales function, marketing team, peers, delivery leads, and management. Success is measured by new relationships with buying influencers, qualified pipeline development, and new business won across the ReVisionz portfolio. The role also contributes industry insight to go-to-market priorities and helps shape the company’s direction and growth.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 8–10 years in business development, sales, consulting, or senior operations, engineering, or capital project roles where success depends on building client relationships and advancing high-value solutions.
  • Established network at owner-operators in industries such as oil and gas, chemicals, mining, power generation, food and beverage, manufacturing, or industrial construction, including contacts who influence buying decisions, such as operations and engineering managers.
  • A record of opening new accounts and securing services engagements or projects.
  • Familiarity with industry priorities such as digital transformation, operational excellence, capital project execution, engineering and asset information, intelligent asset management, and data and AI.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, CRM tools, and commercial AI tools.
  • Ability to navigate multi-stakeholder buying organizations and sustain momentum through 6–18 month sales cycles.
  • Ability to negotiate pricing, scope, and commercial terms for time-and-materials and fixed-fee services work.
