Manager, AR Billing & Collections - Americas
About The Position
Aristocrat is seeking a Manager, AR Billing & Collections - Americas to lead billing and collections operations across the Americas region. The role is accountable for billing quality, aging, customer escalations, dispute resolution, and collection performance, with a focus on customer happiness and operational excellence. The manager leads the Billing Operations Lead - Americas, Collections Supervisor, and AR Resolution Team, and partners with the India AR Delivery Hub on standardized billing support and cash application dependencies. The role also works with the Credit & Risk Supervisor on high-risk accounts, credit holds and releases, and strategies for collection-blocking issues. It supports the transition of routine billing activities to India while maintaining accountability for Americas outcomes. The position sets priorities, reviews performance metrics, develops team capability and role clarity, and promotes adherence to SOPs and service expectations. It identifies automation opportunities and drives adoption of approved AI-enabled tools and automated reporting to improve accuracy, efficiency, aging management, and resolution cycle time. Compensation is determined by factors including skills, experience, qualifications, and location. Requirements
- At least 4 years of experience in accounts receivable, billing, collections, or order-to-cash operations.
- At least 2 years of people leadership experience or demonstrated readiness to manage leads, supervisors, and specialist teams.
- Strong knowledge of billing, collections, customer disputes, and AR controls.
- Ability to partner with offshore or shared-service teams and drive process standardization.
- Strong communication, prioritization, and customer blocking issue management skills.
- Familiarity with approved AI-enabled tools, workflow automation, dashboards, and common efficiency applications to improve process accuracy, reporting, and scalability.
Responsibilities
- Own Americas billing and collections outcomes, including billing quality, aging, customer escalations, dispute resolution, and collection performance.
- Lead the Billing Operations Lead - Americas, Collections Supervisor, and AR Resolution Team.
- Partner with the India AR Delivery Hub on standardized billing support and cash application dependencies.
- Ensure US-based AR work focuses on customer-facing, judgment-based, and exception-based activities.
- Set priorities, review performance metrics, and identify process improvements across billing, collections, and resolution workstreams.
- Partner with the Credit & Risk Supervisor on high-risk accounts, credit holds and releases, and collection-blocking issue strategy.
- Support the transition of routine billing activity to India while maintaining Americas accountability.
- Develop team capability, role clarity, SOP adherence, and service expectations.
- Identify and prioritize automation opportunities across Americas billing, collections, disputes, and blocking issues, including workflow queues, collection prioritization, dashboards, and customer communication support.
- Drive adoption of approved AI-enabled tools and automated reporting to improve billing accuracy, collection efficiency, aging management, and resolution cycle time.
