Training covers facility operations, core products, installation techniques, customer service, and client development. Participants also help grow market share by selling floorcovering materials to commercial consumers, including property management companies, builders, and renovation contractors. The structured training program includes formal discussions about objectives and development, leadership development, and opportunities to build professional relationships in the community. Job duties involve contact with customers, potentially including minors, and access to cash and other payment methods, electronic equipment, personal information, merchandise, and other valuable items. The company states that a criminal-history review is necessary to protect its business, operations, reputation, and the safety of customers, staff, employees, vendors, contractors, and the public.
