The Sherwin-Williams Management & Sales Training Program is an accelerated, entry-level role intended to prepare participants for Store Management in 18–24 months. After successfully completing the initial eight-week training, participants may progress into an Assistant Store Manager position. The program combines formal training with practical experience in store operations, customer service, sales, marketing, finance, and leadership. Participants work with store management to oversee a million-dollar business, contribute to the store’s development and strategy, and help grow market share by selling products to commercial customers, including painting contractors, purchasing agents, and manufacturers. The role also includes building relationships in the community and with wholesale and retail customers. The typical schedule is 44 hours per week and may include evenings and/or weekends. The position involves contact with customers, potentially including minors, and access to cash, payment methods, electronic equipment, personal information, merchandise, and other valuable items. Sherwin-Williams has determined that a criminal-history review is necessary to protect its business, operations, reputation, and the safety of customers, employees, vendors, contractors, and the public.
