About The Position

This position serves as a senior analyst responsible for implementing enterprise data management, which involves ongoing data governance and metadata management initiatives in support of the DLA Strategic Plan and the DLA Data and Analytics Strategy. The analyst will act as an advisor to leadership, ensuring data is Visible, Accessible, Understandable, Linked, Trustworthy, Interoperable, and Secure (VAULTIS) in support of the Department of Defense (DoD) data strategy. The role involves leading projects related to the Enterprise Data Management (EDM) Division and collaborating with DLA Stakeholders to achieve VAULTIS goals in alignment with the DoD Data Strategy. Additionally, the analyst will consult with representatives from Supply Chain, DLA Intelligence (DI), Freedom of Information Act/Privacy Act, and General Counsel to address any issues related to providing determined DLA data solutions.

Requirements

  • Must be a U.S. citizen
  • Non-Critical Sensitive with Secret Access
  • Appointment is subject to the completion of a favorable suitability or fitness determination, where reciprocity cannot be applied; unfavorably adjudicated background checks will be grounds for removal.

  • Selectees are required to have a REAL ID or other acceptable identification documents to access certain federal facilities.
  • One year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-13 level or equivalent under other pay systems in the Federal service, military, or private sector.
  • Designs and conducts complex analysis to identify and remediate data quality or integrity issues and to identify and remediate process or control gaps.
  • Combines and applies comprehensive logistics practices and expertise with a broad awareness of current and projected capabilities in the direct support of all data management technologies and best practices.
  • Develops, documents, and maintains tactical system views (such as concept diagrams and technology roadmaps) to ensure a clear requirement is developed by the customer.
  • Communicates customized data solution description, along with the cost and schedule to customer.
  • Determines if a required Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) and/or Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) is on file with customer or oversees the development and implementation of one.

  • Serves as a senior analyst in the EDM Division and has primary responsibility for leading projects relating to the EDM Division and with DLA Stakeholders to reach VAULTIS goals in line with the DoD Data Strategy.
  • Consults with the applicable Supply Chain, DLA Intelligence (DI), Freedom of Information Act/Privacy Act and General Counsel representatives to determine if there are any issues with providing the determined DLA data solution.
