About The Position

The NRP Group is hiring a Make Ready Technician at Residences at Decker. Under the direction of the Community Manager and Maintenance Supervisor, this role performs groundskeeping and housekeeping services to maintain curb appeal and apartment-home quality, and responds to related service requests. The technician may carry out community maintenance functions in the Maintenance Supervisor’s absence, including coordinating staff and vendors, ordering supplies, and working with the Community Manager on improvements.

Requirements

• Strong verbal and written English communication skills.
• Reliable transportation for essential job functions.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or GED is highly preferred.
• Prior custodial, housekeeping, or apartment experience is preferred.
• Computer proficiency is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform assigned preventive maintenance, repairs, inspections, and janitorial services.
• Assist with maintaining the storage area and maintenance materials.
• Refurbish and renovate apartments according to company standards.
• Walk the property daily to check curb appeal and apartment quality.
• Notify the Community Manager about safety concerns and participate in safety meetings.
• Maintain knowledge of property-specific problems, such as asbestos.
• Keep accurate records of completed tasks.
• Carry out community maintenance responsibilities in the Maintenance Supervisor’s absence, including scheduling staff and vendors, ordering supplies, and coordinating improvements with the Community Manager.
• Complete service requests according to company standards.
• Perform other duties as required.
