About The Position

BSR is seeking a Make Ready Technician to perform general maintenance and repairs at the assigned apartment community, applying specialized skills in areas such as HVAC, plumbing, and electrical work. The role includes maintaining the property and preparing vacant apartments for new residents. The position is full-time, with a 40-hour workweek and day shift, at Hangar 19 in Fort Worth, Texas. The listed hourly salary range is $20.00–$25.00. Travel is not required.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 2–3 years of general maintenance experience.
• Working knowledge of HVAC, electrical systems, plumbing, appliance repair, swimming pools, and carpentry.
• Ability to work 40 hours per week.

Nice To Haves

• EPA certification and/or HVAC certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily repairs and upkeep at the assigned apartment community.
• Prepare vacant apartment homes for new residents.
• Respond to work orders in a timely manner.
• Perform preventative maintenance.
• Troubleshoot and repair HVAC systems.
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical systems.
• Install and repair locks.
• Maintain and upkeep all pools on the property.
• Keep grounds and common areas free of debris and trash.
• Perform minor plumbing, painting, and carpentry work.
• Install and repair appliances.
