About The Position

The Make Ready Technician prepares vacant homes for new residents by performing initial move-out inspections, completing general repairs, and assisting with final punch and readiness activities. The role helps ensure homes meet company standards for Clean, Safe, and Functional while supporting efficient turnaround timelines. Technicians perform a variety of maintenance and repair tasks, manage their daily workload independently, and complete homes within required timelines. Duties may vary based on property needs and business priorities. Performance is evaluated using measurable outcomes that may include the timeliness of initial inspections and repair work following move-out, progress relative to assigned scope and timelines, completion of punch items and final quality checks, and the number of work orders generated during the first 30 days of resident occupancy. Technicians are expected to balance speed and quality while minimizing callbacks and rework. The work is regularly performed in residential properties, including occupied and vacant homes, construction or renovation sites, and outdoor environments. It may involve travel between properties within an assigned region and interaction with residents, vendors, contractors, and internal team members. On-call work, overtime, or extended hours, including evenings and weekends, may be required based on business needs.
