About The Position

Hilltop Residential is seeking a Make Ready Technician to help prepare apartments for occupancy and maintain the property. The role includes inspecting vacated apartments, completing make-ready checklists and assigned work orders, maintaining buildings and common areas, and supporting preventative maintenance. The technician must be able to paint and help keep the grounds neat and free of litter.

The position requires at least one year of hands-on general maintenance experience, a flexible schedule that includes weekends, and rotating on-call coverage for after-hours emergencies. A valid driver's license and/or access to reliable transportation is required. An EPA license is a plus; the company recommends EPA Universal or HVAC certification and may consider helping a selected candidate obtain certification.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of hands-on general maintenance experience.
• Availability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends.
• Rotating on-call responsibility for after-hours emergencies.
• Valid driver's license and/or access to reliable transportation.
• Must be able to paint.

Nice To Haves

• EPA license is a plus.
• EPA Universal or HVAC certification is recommended; Hilltop Residential may consider helping a selected candidate obtain certification.

Responsibilities

• Inspect vacated apartments and complete make-ready checklists.
• Complete make-readies to Hilltop Residential standards.
• Complete assigned work orders and ensure compliance with Hilltop Residential standards.
• Assist with building and common-area maintenance.
• Inspect vacant apartments for damage to walls, doors, blinds, lights, and plumbing fixtures.
• Assist with the preventative maintenance program and maintain property equipment.
• Paint apartments as needed.
• Help keep grounds neat and free of litter.
• Participate in rotating on-call coverage for after-hours emergencies.
