About The Position

The Make Ready Technician works at Villas on Hampton, a Management Support property with 266 apartment units in Mesa, Arizona. The role completes service requests for vacant units and helps maintain the property and its equipment. The technician works under the direction of the Maintenance Foreman and Apartment Manager, promptly and expertly handling preventive and routine maintenance while following written policies and securing work areas and tools according to policy.

The position pays $21.00–$24.00 per hour, based on experience and anticipated performance. The full-time schedule is 40 hours per week with rotating weekend coverage. Requirements

• Basic electrical, plumbing, appliance maintenance, and repair skills.
• Ability to lift and carry 30 pounds up three flights of stairs if there is no elevator.
• Current driver's license and non-rated auto insurance, to be verified.
• Ability to understand and follow written policies.

Nice To Haves

• HVAC certification is preferred but not required.
• Bilingual ability in any language is a plus.
• Prior experience in the trades or maintenance experience at another multifamily management company; training may be provided to applicants with such experience.

Responsibilities

• Complete assigned service requests for vacant units (make ready).
• Promptly and expertly perform preventive and routine maintenance.
• Maintain property-owned equipment and tools and ensure they are properly secured after each use.
• Secure work areas according to policy when they are unoccupied.
• Understand and follow written policies.
• Work under the direction of the Maintenance Foreman and Apartment Manager.
