About The Position

Management Support is hiring a Make Ready Technician for Villas at Parkside, a 368-unit apartment property in Farmers Branch, Texas. The position focuses on completing service requests for vacant units and promptly and expertly handling preventive and routine maintenance. Applicants with prior trades or multifamily maintenance experience may be trained. Compensation is based on experience and anticipated performance, with an hourly rate of $22–$24. The full-time schedule is 40 hours per week with rotating weekend coverage. The company describes opportunities for career advancement to Maintenance Technician and Maintenance Foreman roles.

Requirements

• Basic electrical, plumbing, appliance maintenance, and repair skills.
• Ability to lift and carry 30 pounds up three flights of stairs if there is no elevator.
• Current driver's license and non-rated auto insurance, to be verified.
• Ability to understand and follow written policies.
• Prior experience in the trades or maintenance at another multifamily management company is suitable for applicants the company can train.

Nice To Haves

• HVAC certification is preferred but not required.
• Bilingual ability in any language is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Complete assigned service requests for vacant units (make ready).
• Promptly and expertly perform preventive and routine maintenance.
• Maintain property-owned equipment and tools and ensure they are properly secured after each use.
• Ensure work areas are secured according to policy when unoccupied.
• Understand and follow written policies.
• Work under the direction of the Maintenance Foreman and Apartment Manager.
