About The Position

Hilltop Residential is hiring a Make Ready Technician for Plaza at San Jacinto. The technician inspects vacated apartments, completes make-ready work and work orders to Hilltop Residential standards, assists with building and common-area maintenance, and helps maintain property equipment and grounds. The role requires painting ability, a flexible schedule that includes weekends, and rotating on-call coverage for after-hours emergencies. EPA Universal or HVAC certification is recommended; Hilltop may consider helping a selected candidate obtain certification as part of professional development.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of hands-on general maintenance experience.
• Availability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends.
• Availability for rotating on-call responsibility for after-hours emergencies.
• Valid driver's license and/or access to reliable transportation.
• Ability to paint.

Nice To Haves

• EPA license is a plus.
• EPA Universal or HVAC certification is recommended; Hilltop may consider helping a selected candidate obtain certification.

Responsibilities

• Inspect vacated apartments and complete make-ready checklists.
• Complete apartment make-readies to Hilltop Residential standards.
• Complete assigned work orders and ensure compliance with Hilltop Residential standards.
• Assist with building and common-area maintenance.
• Inspect vacant apartments for damage to walls, doors, blinds, lights, and plumbing fixtures.
• Assist with the preventative maintenance program and maintain property equipment.
• Paint apartments or other areas as needed.
• Help keep grounds neat and free of litter.
• Participate in rotating on-call coverage for after-hours emergencies.
