Make Ready Technician
About The Position
The Make Ready Technician at The Vincent is responsible for preparing vacant apartments to Hilltop Residential standards and supporting the maintenance of the property, its buildings, grounds, and equipment. The role includes inspecting apartments, completing make-ready checklists and assigned work orders, and assisting with preventative maintenance. Painting is required. The position includes a flexible schedule with weekend availability and rotating on-call responsibility for after-hours emergencies. Requirements
- At least 1 year of hands-on general maintenance experience.
- Availability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends.
- Valid driver's license and/or access to reliable transportation.
- Ability to paint.
Nice To Haves
- EPA license is a plus.
- EPA Universal or HVAC certification is recommended; Hilltop Residential may consider helping a selected candidate obtain certification.
Responsibilities
- Inspect vacated apartments and complete make-ready checklists.
- Complete apartment make-readies to Hilltop Residential standards.
- Complete assigned work orders in compliance with Hilltop Residential standards.
- Assist with building and common-area maintenance.
- Inspect vacant apartments for damage to walls, doors, blinds, lights, and plumbing fixtures.
- Assist with the preventative maintenance program and maintain property equipment.
- Paint apartments or other surfaces as needed.
- Help keep the grounds neat and free of litter.
- Participate in rotating on-call coverage for after-hours emergencies.
