About The Position

Hilltop Residential is hiring a Make Ready Technician to inspect vacated apartments, complete make-ready work to company standards, fulfill work orders, and support property maintenance. The role also includes maintaining common areas, assisting with preventative maintenance, caring for property equipment, painting, and helping keep the grounds neat and free of litter.

The position requires at least one year of hands-on general maintenance experience, a flexible schedule that includes weekends, and rotating on-call availability for after-hours emergencies. A valid driver's license and/or access to reliable transportation is required. An EPA license is a plus; the company recommends EPA Universal or HVAC certification and may consider helping a selected candidate obtain certification.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of hands-on general maintenance experience.
• Availability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends.
• Availability for rotating on-call responsibility for after-hours emergencies.
• Valid driver's license and/or access to reliable transportation.

Nice To Haves

• EPA license is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Inspect vacated apartments and complete make-ready checklists.
• Complete make-readies to Hilltop Residential standards.
• Complete assigned work orders and ensure compliance with company standards.
• Assist with building and common-area maintenance.
• Inspect vacant apartments for damage to walls, doors, blinds, lights, and plumbing fixtures.
• Assist with the preventative maintenance program and maintain property equipment.
• Paint apartments or other areas as needed.
• Help keep the grounds neat and free of litter.
• Participate in rotating on-call coverage for after-hours emergencies.
