About The Position

Hilltop Residential is hiring a Make Ready Technician for Platform Grant Park. The role supports apartment readiness and property upkeep by inspecting vacated apartments, completing make-ready work to company standards, handling work orders, and assisting with maintenance of buildings, common areas, grounds, and property equipment. The technician must be able to paint and participates in a preventative maintenance program. The position includes a flexible schedule, weekend availability, and rotating on-call responsibility for after-hours emergencies. Requirements

• At least 1 year of hands-on general maintenance experience.
• Availability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends.
• Ability to participate in rotating on-call coverage for after-hours emergencies.
• Valid driver's license and/or access to reliable transportation.
• Must be able to paint.

Nice To Haves

• EPA license is a plus.
• EPA Universal or HVAC certification is recommended. Hilltop Residential may consider helping a selected candidate who meets the other requirements obtain certification at an appropriate time.

Responsibilities

• Inspect vacated apartments and complete make-ready checklists.
• Complete make-readies to Hilltop Residential standards.
• Complete assigned work orders and ensure compliance with Hilltop Residential standards.
• Assist with building and common-area maintenance.
• Inspect vacant apartments for damage to walls, doors, blinds, lights, and plumbing fixtures.
• Assist with the preventative maintenance program and maintain property equipment.
• Paint apartments or other areas as needed.
• Help keep grounds neat and free of litter.
