About The Position

Ambo Properties is seeking a reliable and motivated Make Ready/Maintenance Tech to prepare apartment homes for new residents and help ensure the property is clean, safe, and inviting. The role supports property upkeep and resident satisfaction, working with the maintenance and leasing teams to support smooth property operations.

Requirements

• A driver's license is required.
• Must pass a criminal background and drug screening.
• Must be physically capable of manual labor, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
• Must be able to work in various weather conditions and perform outdoor tasks as needed.
• Ability to work independently and efficiently with minimal supervision.
• Basic knowledge of property maintenance tasks, including painting, cleaning, and minor repairs.

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience in a Make Ready/Porter or similar role in property management or maintenance is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare vacant units for new residents through cleaning, painting, minor repairs, and appliance checks.
• Assist with general property upkeep, including trash pickup, landscaping, and maintaining curb appeal.
• Clean and maintain common areas such as hallways, lobbies, and laundry rooms.
• Assist with property inspections and help ensure areas comply with safety standards.
• Address minor maintenance work orders as needed and report major repairs to the maintenance team.
• Interact positively and professionally with residents and guests while completing tasks efficiently and carefully.
• Collaborate with the maintenance and leasing teams to support smooth property operations.
