About The Position

Ambo Properties is seeking a reliable and motivated Make Ready/Maintenance Tech to prepare apartment homes for new residents and help keep the property clean, safe, and inviting. The role supports property upkeep and resident satisfaction through apartment turnover work, cleaning, minor repairs, outdoor tasks, and collaboration with maintenance and leasing teams.

Requirements

• Valid driver's license required.
• Must be physically capable of manual labor, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
• Must be able to pass a criminal background check and drug screening.
• Ability to work in various weather conditions and perform outdoor tasks as needed.

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience in a Make Ready, Porter, or similar property management or maintenance role.
• Basic knowledge of property maintenance tasks, including painting, cleaning, and minor repairs.
• Ability to work independently and efficiently with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Prepare vacant apartment units for new residents, including cleaning, painting, minor repairs, and appliance checks.
• Assist with general property upkeep, including picking up trash, landscaping, and maintaining curb appeal.
• Clean and maintain common areas such as hallways, lobbies, and laundry rooms.
• Assist with property inspections and help ensure areas comply with safety standards.
• Address minor maintenance work orders and report major repairs to the maintenance team.
• Interact positively and cordially with residents and guests while completing tasks efficiently and carefully.
• Work with the maintenance and leasing teams to support smooth property operations.
