About The Position
The Make-Ready Tech prepares vacant apartments for market-ready condition by performing non-technical maintenance functions. The role also supports property inspections, upkeep of grounds and common areas, and assistance to maintenance and housekeeping staff. The position requires participation in a paid rotating on-call schedule and availability for snow, ice, and other site emergencies. The schedule is Monday through Friday and may change based on business needs.
Requirements
- Active and valid driver's license and personal vehicle.
- Live within a 30-minute commute of the property.
- One year of related experience, or equivalent education and experience.
Nice To Haves
- HVAC, EPA, or CFC certification preferred.
Responsibilities
- Prepare vacant apartments for market-ready condition.
- Perform caulking, drywall repair, and touch-up painting.
- Test locks and key sets.
- Assist with property inspections.
- Maintain exterior lighting.
- Repair and perform preventative maintenance on grounds equipment.
- Maintain grounds and common areas, including picking up trash, sweeping sidewalks and driveways, and snow removal.
- Assist Maintenance Technicians, the Porter, and the Housekeeper as necessary.
- Perform pool maintenance.
- Participate in paid rotating on-call coverage and be available for snow, ice, and other site emergencies.
