About The Position

The Maintenance role is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of central HVAC and mechanical equipment, following sound engineering practices and specified corporate operating procedures. The position repairs and maintains hotel systems and equipment, including food production and kitchen equipment, laundry equipment, ice machines, refrigeration systems, boilers, plumbing, and electrical and natural gas distribution systems. It also troubleshoots electrical and pneumatic problems and performs ongoing preventive and predictive maintenance.

Requirements

• Previous hotel engineering experience, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, commercial kitchen, and general building construction.
• Vocational training, an associate's degree, certification, and/or apprenticeship in one or more areas; state certification or licensure where required.
• Ability to understand and efficiently maintain and operate advanced electrical, plumbing, refrigeration, and boiler systems.
• Ability to read and understand blueprints, schematic drawings, and technical parts breakdowns.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• High work ethic and self-initiative.

Responsibilities
