About The Position

The Maintenance Technician ensures the proper operation, safety, and upkeep of the Larry Moore senior housing facility in Union City, Georgia. The role includes preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems, as well as maintaining safe and clean common areas and compliance with safety standards and building codes. The technician also supervises and trains junior maintenance staff, manages supplies and equipment inventory, and records and reports maintenance activities.

This is a part-time position of 20 hours per week with a 24/7 on-call requirement, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, to respond to maintenance emergencies. Work takes place indoors and outdoors in senior housing settings and may involve varying conditions. A monthly mobile allowance is provided. Salary is based on experience.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• At least 3 years of maintenance experience.
• Proficiency in HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.
• Ability to lift heavy objects and work in various conditions.
• Valid driver's license.
