About The Position
Join the team as a full-time Maintenance Technician at Fred Paris Towers, a 250-unit affordable housing community in Little Rock, Arkansas. The role supports the property’s day-to-day upkeep by addressing maintenance needs and helping keep the community in good condition. The position calls for a dependable, solution-oriented person who takes pride in hands-on work and repairs.
Requirements
- At least two years of experience in property management maintenance, building maintenance, or a related trade.
- Working knowledge of plumbing, HVAC, electrical, and appliance repair.
- Valid driver’s license and ability to meet insurance requirements.
- Strong customer service skills and a resident-first mindset.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
Nice To Haves
- HVAC-EPA Type II or EPA Universal certification.
Responsibilities
- Complete daily maintenance and repairs involving plumbing, electrical systems, HVAC, and appliances.
- Respond promptly to routine and emergency maintenance requests when assigned.
- Perform daily property walks to maintain cleanliness, safety, and appearance.
- Prepare vacant apartments for new residents using make-ready checklists.
- Inspect buildings and grounds to maintain safety, cleanliness, and curb appeal.
- Maintain common areas, exterior spaces, and grounds, including seasonal preparation such as fall cleanup.
- Communicate with vendors and contractors.
