Join the team as a full-time Maintenance Technician at Fred Paris Towers, a 250-unit affordable housing community in Little Rock, Arkansas. The role helps keep the property in good condition by addressing maintenance needs and supporting the community’s day-to-day upkeep. The ideal candidate is dependable, solution-oriented, comfortable with hands-on troubleshooting and repairs, and takes pride in a job well done.

Requirements

• At least two years of previous experience in property management maintenance, building maintenance, or a related trade.
• Working knowledge of plumbing, HVAC, electrical, and appliance repair.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to meet insurance requirements.
• Strong customer service skills and a resident-first mindset.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Nice To Haves

• HVAC-EPA Type II or EPA Universal certification.

Responsibilities

• Complete daily maintenance and repairs involving plumbing, electrical systems, HVAC, and appliances.
• Respond promptly to routine and emergency maintenance requests when assigned.
• Perform daily property walks to keep the community clean, safe, and presentable.
• Prepare vacant apartments for new residents using make-ready checklists.
• Inspect buildings and grounds to maintain safety, cleanliness, and curb appeal.
• Maintain common areas, exterior spaces, and grounds, including seasonal preparation such as fall cleanup.
• Communicate with vendors and contractors.
