About The Position

Indigo Real Estate is seeking an enthusiastic, service-oriented Maintenance Technician who takes ownership of their work and is driven to succeed. The role supports two properties in Auburn and Federal Way and involves responding to maintenance requests, completing preventative maintenance and apartment turns, and helping provide residents with a quality living experience. The successful candidate is organized, energetic, and self-motivated, with strong customer service, multitasking, communication, and problem-solving skills. They should be able to respond appropriately and urgently to situations, work collaboratively, and maintain cleanliness, efficiency, and accurate records. The job includes physical work and requires some weekend and holiday work, as well as on-call availability for emergencies. A $500 signing bonus is offered.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Effective customer service skills.
Ability to multitask with strong attention to detail.
Current driver's license and proof of automobile insurance.

Nice To Haves

Preferred minimum of 2 years of experience in property maintenance.
Painting experience.

Responsibilities

Respond promptly and professionally to maintenance requests and work orders.
Provide excellent customer service to prospective and current residents and promote a quality living experience.
Perform preventative maintenance and apartment turns, including painting, diagnosing problems, and repairs involving HVAC, electrical, plumbing, pools, carpentry, drywall, and appliances.
Inspect buildings and grounds for safety and cleanliness, and coordinate with outside contractors as needed.
Perform emergency after-hours maintenance as required.
