About The Position

Delaware Tire Centers is seeking an experienced Alignment and Suspension Technician to perform alignment and suspension services at its Dover, Delaware location. The company is a family-owned group of automotive service centers serving the Delmarva area since 1968. This is a full-time position with hourly pay plus commission. Benefits include health, dental, and vision insurance and a 401(k) plan.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• At least 3 years of experience in alignment and suspension work.
• Ability to perform basic mechanical repairs and parts replacement.
• Ability to perform wheel alignments and suspension and steering adjustments.
• Ability to perform basic tire replacement.
• Ability to identify bent or damaged suspension or steering components.
• Basic automotive knowledge and diagnostic ability.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
• Ability to handle heavy objects with precision.

Nice To Haves

• ASE certification in alignment and suspension is preferred.
• Automotive industry experience is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform vehicle wheel alignments, including on light trucks and SUVs.
• Diagnose suspension systems and ride and handling concerns.
• Replace tires and wheels.
• Replace suspension and steering parts.
• Replace shocks and struts.
• Perform other duties as needed.
