About The Position

Palms Associates is hiring an experienced Apartment Maintenance Technician for Rice Terrace Apartments & Townhomes, a 177-home community in Columbia, South Carolina. The technician will perform apartment maintenance, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, appliance, and other general repairs. The role requires hands-on HVAC experience and EPA certification for refrigerant handling. Requirements

Hands-on HVAC experience.
EPA certification for refrigerant handling.
At least one year of apartment maintenance experience.
Well-rounded general maintenance skills, including plumbing, electrical, and appliance repair.
Proactive problem-solving skills and strong initiative.
Ability to collaborate and work effectively in a skilled crew environment.
Comfort using MS Office 365 and a personal mobile device.
Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
Professional integrity and commitment to long-term employment.
Valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

Perform apartment maintenance and repairs, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and appliance repairs.
Participate in the on-call rotation when assigned.
