About The Position
Palms Associates is seeking an experienced Apartment Maintenance Technician for Rice Terrace Apartments & Townhomes, a 177-home community in Columbia, South Carolina. The technician will perform apartment maintenance, with hands-on HVAC experience and EPA certification for refrigerant handling required. Requirements
- At least 1 year of apartment maintenance experience.
- Hands-on HVAC experience.
- EPA certification for refrigerant handling.
- Well-rounded general maintenance skills, including plumbing, electrical, and appliance repair.
- Proactive problem-solving skills and strong initiative.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a skilled crew environment.
- Technological proficiency and comfort using MS Office 365 and a personal mobile device.
- Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
- Integrity and an interest in long-term employment.
- Valid driver's license.
Responsibilities
- Perform HVAC repairs and maintenance.
- Perform general apartment maintenance, including plumbing, electrical, and appliance repairs.
- Participate in the on-call rotation; an on-call stipend is provided.
