About The Position

We are seeking a dependable and skilled Maintenance Technician to join a condominium maintenance team. The role involves performing general building maintenance, repairs, and preventative maintenance to keep the property, common areas, and facilities safe, clean, and in excellent working condition. The Maintenance Technician works closely with the Maintenance Supervisor and Property Manager to address maintenance requests, troubleshoot issues, and maintain the condominium community’s appearance and functionality. This is a part-time position scheduled Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Pay is up to $25, depending on experience.

Requirements

Hands-on experience performing general building maintenance, repairs, and preventative maintenance.
Ability to perform minor electrical repairs only as qualified.

Responsibilities

Perform general maintenance and repairs throughout the condominium property.
Conduct routine inspections of buildings, common areas, and community facilities.
Perform basic plumbing repairs, including fixing leaks, unclogging drains, and replacing faucets.
Perform minor electrical repairs, including changing light fixtures, bulbs, switches, and outlets, as qualified.
Complete basic carpentry, drywall repairs, patching, painting, and touch-up work.
Assist with preventative maintenance of building equipment and systems.
Maintain hallways, lobbies, stairwells, elevators, and other common areas.
Respond to maintenance requests from management and address issues in a timely manner.
Assist with pool area, clubhouse, and recreational facility maintenance as needed.
Monitor building conditions and report major repairs or safety concerns.
Assist with vendor access and coordinate maintenance-related projects when necessary.
Keep maintenance tools, equipment, and work areas organized.
Follow all safety procedures and condominium maintenance standards.
