About The Position

The Maintenance Technician works closely with maintenance management, operations, and plant engineers. The position reports directly to the Maintenance Supervisor located in McArthur, Ohio. The role involves troubleshooting and repairing process equipment, completing preventive maintenance, installing equipment, and inspecting equipment and systems. No travel is required. Work takes place throughout the plant, indoors and outdoors, in all weather conditions.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 2 years of previous maintenance experience.
• Understanding of electrical systems and ability to read and understand wiring diagrams.
• Understanding of mechanical systems and ability to read and understand detail and process and instrumentation drawings.
• Understanding of hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Effective problem-solving abilities.
• Understanding of general maintenance procedures and techniques.
• Ability to lift heavy objects and perform other labor-intensive tasks.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in explosive manufacture is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical issues with process equipment.
• Conduct preventative maintenance work orders.
• Disassemble and install new equipment, sensors, and machines.
• Perform tasks such as parts replacements and cleaning.
• Inspect equipment and systems for stability and quality.
