About The Position

We are looking for a first-shift Maintenance Technician I with at least one year of industrial experience and a specialized focus on grounds maintenance. The position troubleshoots mechanical and electrical problems throughout the facility, performs preventative and mechanical maintenance on industrial machinery and groundskeeping equipment, and maintains the exterior property. The successful candidate is a self-motivated problem-solver who works safely and helps ensure facility and quality standards are met. Candidates must pass an electrical board and hands-on PLC programming assessment.

Requirements

• At least one year of experience in an industrial setting.
• Minimum two years of manufacturing experience.
• Strong electrical and PLC manufacturing background, including the ability to read ladder logic and program HMIs.
• Ability to pass an electrical board and hands-on PLC programming assessment.
• Knowledge of machine repair.
• Knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, and plumbing.
• Mechanical, welding, and cutting skills.
• Ability to read mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic prints.
• Good problem-solving skills, safe work practices, and attention to quality.
• Computer skills.
• Meter usage and ability to complete measurements.
• Ability to perform outdoor grounds maintenance tasks.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with Allen Bradley PLCs.
• CPR and first aid training may be required.
• Lockout/tagout, fall protection, PPE, and confined-space training.

Responsibilities

• Complete mechanical repairs and make adjustments as needed.
• Perform preventative maintenance on assigned machinery.
• Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical problems.
• Complete welding and fabrication tasks with little direction.
• Enter data into the maintenance system accurately and on time.
• Perform advanced electrical work safely in the maintenance field.
• Maintain exterior grounds and property.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
