About The Position

The Maintenance Technician is an entry-level role on a vehicle service team at Firestone Complete Auto Care. The technician learns and performs basic automotive diagnosis and repair, maintenance services, tire work, battery installation, electrical checks, and vehicle road tests. The posting lists a pay range of $14.37–$22.45. Full- and part-time benefits are available from day one.

Requirements

• Ability to learn basic mechanical tasks.
• Must have a valid automobile driver's license at all times and be able to drive customer and company vehicles.
• Reading, writing, and math skills.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in the automotive service industry is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Learn to diagnose and repair basic automotive systems, including brakes, alignments, suspensions, cooling, exhaust, and electrical systems.
• Change oil and perform scheduled maintenance services.
• Install tires and perform tire maintenance.
• Install batteries and shock absorbers, and check electrical systems.
• Road test vehicles.
