About The Position

Bozzuto is hiring a Maintenance Technician to help maintain its residences and provide exceptional service to residents. The role includes responding to maintenance service tickets, completing preventative maintenance, repairing HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and appliance issues, preparing vacant apartments for move-in, and maintaining the building and grounds. The position includes weekend or evening work and participation in an on-call rotation for after-hours emergencies.

After 12 months of employment, the technician will be eligible to earn an EPA 608 Universal Refrigerant Certification, fully paid by Bozzuto. The position is eligible for additional bonus opportunities and offers a salary range of $53,000–$55,000 USD, a $2,500 sign-on bonus, and benefits supporting health, well-being, retirement, and professional development.

Requirements

• Experience in building maintenance or education in the trades.
• Beginner to intermediate proficiency in HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and appliance repair.
• Availability for property emergencies, including participation in an on-call rotation.
• Ability to exert 25 to 50 pounds of force frequently and/or 10 to 20 pounds of force constantly.
• Reliable personal transportation to commute to work and respond to on-call emergencies.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• A sharp professional appearance.
• Basic computer skills and comfort using software, apps, and computer programs.
• A service mentality and eagerness to learn.

Responsibilities

• Resolve service tickets and perform preventative maintenance with care and concern for residents.
• Repair HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and appliance issues.
• Prepare vacant apartments for move-in through turnover repairs and improvements.
• Maintain the building's appearance and community safety through general upkeep, cleanliness, snow removal, and grounds maintenance.
• Provide residents with outstanding customer service.
• Work weekends or evenings and be available on call for after-hours emergencies.
