About The Position

Bozzuto is hiring a Maintenance Technician to maintain residences and provide excellent service to residents. The role involves resolving service requests, completing preventative maintenance, repairing HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and appliances, preparing vacant apartments for move-in, and maintaining the building, grounds, and community safety. The position includes weekend or evening work and participation in an on-call rotation for after-hours emergencies.

After 12 months of employment, the employee will be eligible to earn an EPA 608 Universal Refrigerant Certification paid for by Bozzuto. The position is eligible for additional bonus opportunities and offers a salary range of $50,000–$51,500, along with benefits and career-development programs.

Requirements

• Experience in building maintenance or education in the trades.
• Beginner to intermediate proficiency in HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and appliance repair.
• Availability for property emergencies, including participation in an on-call rotation.
• Ability to exert 25 to 50 pounds of force frequently and/or 10 to 20 pounds of force constantly.
• Personal, reliable transportation to commute to work and respond to on-call emergencies.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• A sharp professional appearance.
• Basic computer skills and comfort using various software, apps, and computer programs.
• A service mentality and willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

• Resolve resident service tickets and perform preventative maintenance.
• Address HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and appliance repair issues.
• Prepare vacant apartments for move-in through turnover repairs and improvements.
• Maintain the building’s appearance and community safety through general upkeep, cleanliness, snow removal, and grounds maintenance.
• Provide outstanding customer service to residents.
• Work weekends or evenings and participate in on-call coverage for after-hours emergencies.
