About The Position

Bozzuto is hiring a Maintenance Technician to maintain its residences and support a welcoming, well-maintained community. The role focuses on resolving service requests, performing preventative maintenance, preparing apartments for move-in, and maintaining the building and grounds while providing residents with outstanding customer service. The position includes weekend or evening work and participation in an on-call rotation for after-hours emergencies. The salary range is $53,000–$55,000 USD, with a $2,500 sign-on bonus and eligibility for additional bonus opportunities. After 12 months of employment, the employee will be eligible to earn an EPA 608 Universal Refrigerant Certification fully paid by Bozzuto.

Requirements

• Experience in building maintenance or education in the trades.
• Beginner to intermediate proficiency in HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and appliance repair.
• Availability for property emergencies, including participation in an on-call rotation.
• Ability to exert 25 to 50 pounds of force frequently and/or 10 to 20 pounds of force constantly.
• Personal, reliable transportation to commute to work and respond to on-call emergencies.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• A sharp professional appearance.
• Basic computer skills and comfort using various software, apps, and computer programs.
• A service mentality and eagerness to learn.

Responsibilities

• Resolve resident service tickets and perform preventative maintenance.
• Address HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and appliance repair issues.
• Prepare vacant apartments for move-in through turnover repairs and improvements.
• Maintain the building’s appearance and community safety through general upkeep, cleanliness, snow removal, and grounds maintenance.
• Provide residents with outstanding customer service.
• Work weekends or evenings and participate in an on-call rotation for after-hours emergencies.
