About The Position

Sentry Management is seeking an experienced part-time Maintenance Technician for a community in New Port Richey, Florida, in Pasco County. The technician is responsible for completing maintenance tasks and projects to a high standard at the assigned association. The role involves interacting with colleagues, homeowners, vendors, and the Association Board of Directors.

Requirements

Previous maintenance experience.
Professional, organized, and self-motivated.
Ability to work independently with little supervision.
Ability to stand, bend, climb, and walk for up to 4–8 hours per day.
Ability to safely bend and lift up to 50 pounds.
Ability to work in variable weather conditions.
General computer skills.
Valid motor vehicle operator’s license and a clean driving record.

Responsibilities

Perform regular inspections and maintenance to ensure building systems—including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and mechanical systems—function properly.
Respond to repair requests from residents and promptly resolve issues in common areas.
Maintain the cleanliness and appearance of common areas and outdoor amenities, including the pool.
Coordinate repairs with external vendors, contractors, and service providers.
Perform other duties as assigned.
