About The Position

The Maintenance Technician works on the hotel engineering team to keep equipment in good working order through routine repairs and preventative maintenance. The role also assists the Chief Engineer and other team members with building and grounds maintenance, helps maintain a safe environment for guests and staff, and provides courteous service to guests. The technician is expected to assist other departments when needed and to know emergency procedures and Job Safety Analysis guides.

• Knowledge of emergency procedures and Job Safety Analysis guides.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine repairs and preventative maintenance checks to keep equipment in good working order.
• Assist the Chief Engineer and team with building and grounds maintenance.
• Maintain a safe environment for guests and hotel staff by meeting safety standards.
• Provide professional, courteous service to guests and accommodate requests.
• Assist other departments when help is needed.
• Know emergency procedures and Job Safety Analysis guides.
