About The Position

Travel + Leisure Co. is hiring a Maintenance Technician II for Wyndham Ocean Ridge Resort. The role supports guest experiences by maintaining resort units and buildings in proper working order, applying facilities maintenance skills and customer service expertise. The technician performs plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and interior repair work; conducts preventive maintenance; inspects building systems; reports deficiencies to a supervisor; and follows company safety programs.

Responsibilities

• Apply intermediate working knowledge of facilities maintenance, including HVAC, electrical, and plumbing, and perform repairs as needed.
• Perform plumbing maintenance on pipes, drains, faucets, disposals, showers, and Jacuzzi tubs using soldering, PVC, CPVC, and fittings.
• Replace breakers, ballasts, switches, sockets, and other electrical fixtures; prevent and troubleshoot potential electrical hazards.
• Complete preventive maintenance programs on systems such as HVAC.
• Repair interior walls, wall coverings, and ceilings by patching drywall, replacing wood or wall coverings, applying texture, and painting.
• Clean and inspect building systems and report deficiencies to a supervisor.
• Adhere to the company’s safety programs.
• Provide quality results for guests through maintenance skills and customer service.
